Pakistan’s emergence as a resounding victor in the Indo-Pakistani conflict of May 2025 underscores its commitment to defending its territory and deterring future aggression. Operation ‘‘Bunyan Marsus’’ proved a metaphor for the professionalism and unwavering resolve of Pakistan’s armed forces. The Pakistan Army successfully hit 26 military targets used against Pakistan in Operation Banyan Marsus, targeting the Uri Networks Station and Poonch Radar. Pakistan have emerged as a clear winner in the recent escalation between India and Pakistan, as the conflict was halted by a U.S.-mediated ceasefire on the request of India before it could escalate into a full-scale war. US President’s statement, Kashmir issue back on the global stage. Indian attempts to declare Kashmir as India’s internal matter and a Pak-India bilateral issue have failed. President Donald Trump also mentioned the Kashmir issue in his statement, President Trump said, “I will work with Pakistan and India to see if a solution can be found for Kashmir after a thousand years?” The recent statement of the US President is a major diplomatic success for Pakistan. After the statement of the US President, the Kashmir issue has once again become the centre of global attention, and a major victory for Pakistan’s position. Despite the ceasefire, Pakistan’s position is clear that a solution to the Kashmir issue is indispensable for lasting peace in the region. The U.S. played a pivotal role in mediating the ceasefire, with US President Trump announcing the agreement. India sought U.S. intervention to stop the conflict, to assess the outcomes and implications for both sides. India approached the U.S. for help to stop the war after Pakistan’s missile strikes are supported by CNN’s reporting. The conflict began after an attack on April 22, 2025, in Indian-Occupied Kashmir (IIOK), killing 26 civilians. India blamed Pakistan for supporting the attackers, a claim Pakistan denied. On May 7, 2025, India launched “Operation Sindoor,” targeting nine sites in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, claiming to hit “terrorist infrastructure.” This was the deepest Indian strike into Pakistan since the 1971 war. India framed “Operation Sindoor” as a claimed response to terrorism, resonating with domestic audiences angered by the Kashmir attack, which indeed backfired and proved a failed operation at both levels domestically and internationally as well. The symbolic name and claims of precision strikes couldn’t bolster Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a strongman, but indeed exposed him as a failed leader, who faced challenges from Pakistani leadership in a bitter response of downing advanced jets, which dented his narrative of military superiority. Pakistan clearly denied involvement in the April attack as a peaceful country and gained massive diplomatic support, with Turkey and other prominent muslim member countries expressing solidarity and calling for an investigation into the militant attack. The suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty and trade measures signalled a long-term diplomatic offensive against Pakistan, though these remained in place post-ceasefire. Pakistan shot down five Indian aircraft, including three Rafale jets, and a drone attack. Pakistan also reported innocent civilian casualties, at least 30 killed, and vowed retaliation. Both sides exchanged missile and drone attacks, with Pakistan targeting Indian military bases and India reporting drone incursions. The conflict saw significant use of drones, marking a new phase in their rivalry. The tenth day of May 2025 shall henceforth be commemorated as a day of triumph for the nation of Pakistan and its valorous armed forces. What tidings bring forth the valorous deeds of Pakistan! A triumph of monumental proportions hath been achieved, whereby the Pakistan Air Force, with unwavering prowess, hath vanquished the vaunted Rafale fighter jet, a marvel of modern aeronautics. The Pakistan Air Force, with unyielding fortitude, hath sent to perdition the storied Rafale, a testament to the mettle of its pilots and the might of its aircraft. The vaunted S-400 defence system, India’s pride and bulwark, hath been razed to the ground, a testament to Pakistan’s unbridled martial prowess. The haughty demeanour of India’s leadership, personified by the redoubtable Modi, hath been laid low, its arrogance interred in the dust of ignominy. The JF-17 Thunder and Al-Fath missile, those stalwart sentinels of Pakistan’s aerial defence, have proved their mettle in the crucible of battle, vanquishing the enemy with unerring precision. Pakistan’s aerial forces have emerged victorious in the world’s largest air battle, with 40 aircraft engaged and 75 heavy losses inflicted upon the enemy, a testament to the valour and skill of its pilots.

Pakistan’s emerged as a resounding victor in the Indo-Pakistan conflict. Pakistan’s narrative of restraint and responsibility resonated globally, while India’s military initiative was marred by weak and unverified claims of losses. The international community’s pressure on India to de-escalate the situation tempered its gains, and its decision to seek U.S. help lends credence to Pakistan’s narrative.

This resounding victory shall be enshrined in the annals of history, a testament to Pakistan’s unwavering resolve and martial prowess. Pakistan’s cyber attack against India has been described as the biggest attack in history. A befitting reply of Pakistan to Indian aggression was fully recognised by the global community. According to the BBC, India’s strategy failed, and Pakistan gained superiority on the military front. India failed to strike a decisive blow. Pakistan’s air power is a challenge for India; billions spent did not help. British magazine The Telegraph praised Pakistan’s effective defence strategy and raised tough questions on Indian aircraft. The destruction of modern Indian aircraft like Rafale is a “humiliating defeat” for India. The Telegraph further praised that the Pakistan Air Force is the ruler of the skies. Pakistani aircraft shot down five Indian warplanes using modern air-to-air missiles. Pakistan has by shooting down Indian aircraft, it not only proved its air superiority but also surprised military experts at the global level. For the first time in history, Rafale aircraft have been destroyed, said Al Jazeera. Pakistan inflicted heavy damage on Indian military camps and air bases. Pakistan’s military response demonstrates its commitment to defending its territory and deterring future aggression. Pakistan is maintaining its air and military superiority to establish peace in the region. Pakistan’s resolute retaliatory missile strikes, targeting key Indian military installations on the aforementioned date, exerted considerable pressure upon India to de-escalate the conflict. Pakistan’s military successfully destroyed India’s S-400 air defence system, a sophisticated asset valued at approximately $1.5 billion, procured from Russia in 2018. Additionally, Pakistani forces neutralised Russian and French-supplied platforms. Pakistan’s air force shot down five Indian fighter jets, including three French-made Rafale jets, one Sukhoi Su-30mki, and one MIG-29 Fulcrum, showcasing the country’s military prowess. Pakistan’s retaliatory strikes targeted multiple Indian military installations, including the BrahMos missile storage site in Beas, airfields in Udhampur, Suratgarh, and Pathankot, and artillery positions in Dehrangyari. After Pakistan’s attack, India contacted the United States and asked the United States to find a diplomatic solution. India’s decision to seek U.S. intervention signifies a notable departure from its historical reluctance to accept foreign mediation in disputes with Pakistan. This development aligns with Pakistan’s narrative of delivering a powerful response to India’s aggression. Notably, the United States played a pivotal role in facilitating truce negotiations, thereby underscoring a marked shift in India’s stance on foreign mediation. The U.S. played a crucial role in the truce negotiations. A U.S.-mediated ceasefire was announced by President Donald Trump, halting hostilities, and the ceasefire was described as full and immediate. However, U.S. involvement is a clear defeat of India’s historical reluctance to accept foreign mediation in its disputes with Pakistan. By assessing the winner, we can evaluate Pakistan’s military, diplomatic, and narrative outcomes based on the available data, that Pakistan successfully executed deep strikes into India in response, targeting Indian bases and infrastructure and also in IIOK. As Pakistan’s ally, China supplied 81% of its weapons, including J-10C jets and air defence systems tested in the conflict. The clash served as a testing ground for Chinese technology, with reports of successful J-10C engagements boosting China’s defence industry. Other actors, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the UK, engaged diplomatically, urging restraint. Turkey’s support for Pakistan and Saudi Arabia’s outreach to both sides indicate balanced international pressure to de-escalate. Conversely, the Indian military endeavour was marked by a paucity of noteworthy accomplishments. India’s aerial assaults, which targeted civilian areas, failed to yield substantial results, while the loss of advanced fighter jets raised concerns regarding vulnerabilities within its military arsenal. In stark contrast, Pakistan’s capability to neutralise enemy aircraft and execute counterstrikes demonstrated its military prowess and suggested an unwavering resolve. Ultimately, Pakistan emerged victorious on the battlefield, securing a decisive military triumph prior to the cessation of hostilities.

The Kashmir conundrum once again drew international scrutiny, as India’s strikes garnered global attention. Indian officials struggled to provide satisfactory justifications for the operation to foreign envoys, particularly in light of allegations surrounding false flag terrorism. Consequently, India faced considerable pressure from influential global powers, including the United States, China, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom, to de-escalate the situation, underscoring the risks of diplomatic isolation that accompanied further escalation. The international community is urged to take cognisance of India’s egregious acts of state terrorism in Pakistan. Since January 2024, a staggering 3,700 terrorist incidents have occurred, resulting in the loss of 3,896 innocent lives. Pakistan, being the last bastion against terrorism, has borne the brunt of this menace, with 1,314 officers and personnel martyred and 2,582 injured during the same period. Notable Statistics show that 77,816 operations have been carried out since January 2024, resulting in the elimination of 1,666 terrorists, including 83 high-value targets. Security forces and law enforcement agencies conduct over 190 operations daily, underscoring their unwavering commitment to combating terrorism. A disturbing pattern emerges when examining major security breaches in India during periods of BJP governance, including: The Kargil War in 1999; The attack on the Indian Parliament; Attacks on Amarnath pilgrims in 2002 and 2017; and Attacks on Pathankot, Uri, Pulwama, and Pahalgam. These incidents raise pertinent questions regarding the efficacy and adequacy of the security measures and policies implemented by the BJP administration. Pakistan adeptly positioned itself as a victim of Indian aggression, underscoring its inherent right to self-defence and unwavering commitment to peace. This stance garnered significant benefits from U.S. mediation, which played a pivotal role in brokering a ceasefire and potentially enhancing Pakistan’s diplomatic leverage. Pakistan’s narrative of restraint and the U.S.-mediated ceasefire aligned seamlessly with its call for de-escalation, thereby granting it a clear diplomatic advantage. Conversely, India’s aggressive posture, while potentially popular domestically, risked alienating neutral parties and undermining its international reputation. Pakistan’s military leaders emphasised a resounding reply to India’s aggression, declaring Pakistan the winner in the conflict. The downing of Indian jets and drones showcased Pakistan’s military strength, with commentary from the BBC suggesting that Pakistan’s air power matched India’s and prevented a decisive Indian blow. Pakistan successfully highlighted civilian casualties to portray India as reckless, potentially swaying international and domestic opinion. Pakistan appears to have successfully gained ground in the narrative war, particularly on International platforms and media outlets. India’s narrative of avenging the Kashmir attack was not only domestically but also internationally due to unverified claims and civilian casualties in Pakistan. Pakistan’s military prowess was showcased through successful offensive and defensive operations, including deep strikes into Indian territory, thereby reinforcing its stance against terrorism and garnering domestic support. Pakistan’s air defence systems, notably those supplied by China, demonstrated exceptional efficacy, downing multiple Indian aircraft and showcasing the country’s military strength. Pakistan gained significant narrative traction by positioning itself as a victim of aggression, thereby bolstering its diplomatic position and garnering international sympathy. Pakistan received massive diplomatic support from Turkey and other prominent Muslim member countries, expressing solidarity and calling for an investigation into the militant attack. Pakistan has emerged with a pronounced advantage in both the narrative and diplomatic realms. This ascendancy is underscored by the plaudits it received from international platforms and media outlets, which lauded its exemplary air defences and measured restraint. The U.S.-mediated ceasefire for de-escalation further solidifies its diplomatic stance and underscores the country’s commitment to peace. The conflict has demonstrated the pivotal role of modern drone and missile warfare in contemporary conflicts, providing valuable insights for military strategists and policymakers alike. The ceasefire, while preventing a broader conflagration, has also highlighted the growing influence of external actors like the U.S. and China in the region. The U.S.-mediated ceasefire, aligning as it did with Pakistan’s position, further solidified its diplomatic stance. Pakistan’s narrative of restraint and responsibility resonated globally, while India’s military initiative was marred by weak and unverified claims of losses. The international community’s pressure on India to de-escalate the situation tempered its gains, and its decision to seek U.S. help lends credence to Pakistan’s narrative, which made Pakistan a resounding victor in the Indo-Pakistani conflict.
